Residential & new construction

HVAC services, done straight

Air conditioning, heat pumps, and forced-air gas and propane heat — installed, repaired, and maintained by a licensed master technician with fifteen years in the trade.

Service 01

AC installation & replacement

A new system is one of the bigger purchases a homeowner makes. We treat it that way.

Before we ever quote a replacement, we perform a thorough evaluation of the existing equipment — the condenser, the air handler, the ductwork, the electrical, and the refrigerant charge. Then we sit down and tell you exactly what we found.

If the system can be repaired economically, we'll say so. If it genuinely makes more sense to replace it, we'll show you why and size the new equipment properly for your house rather than guessing from the old nameplate.

  • Full evaluation before any recommendation
  • Correctly sized equipment — not just a like-for-like swap
  • Free replacement quotes, with financing available
  • Code-compliant installation, tested before we leave

Common signs it's time

  • System is 12–15+ years old and needing repeated repairs
  • Repair cost is approaching a meaningful share of a new unit
  • Rooms that never quite get comfortable
  • Electric bills climbing with no change in habits
  • Uses R-22 refrigerant (phased out, expensive to recharge)

What we service

  • Forced-air natural gas furnaces
  • Forced-air propane furnaces
  • Heat pumps used for heating
  • Thermostats and controls

What we don't

  • Oil-fired systems — we don't service these, and we'll tell you so on the phone rather than after a trip charge

Service 02

Heating & furnace service

Winters here don't negotiate. Your heat needs to work.

We diagnose and repair forced-air gas and propane systems, and we keep them tuned so they run safely and efficiently through the season. That means checking combustion, airflow, the heat exchanger, safeties, and the controls — not just swapping the part that's obviously burnt.

Lost heat in the middle of the night? We answer the phone 24/7, weekends and holidays included.

Service 03

Heat pumps & ductless mini-splits

One piece of equipment that both heats and cools — and doesn't need ductwork.

Ductless mini-splits are often the right answer for the houses we see around Pike County: older homes with no duct runs, finished attics and basements, additions, sunrooms, garages and workshops. Each indoor head is controlled independently, so you're not paying to condition rooms nobody's in.

We install and service both central heat pumps and ductless mini-split systems, and we'll tell you honestly whether one fits your house or whether conventional equipment is the better buy.

  • Room-by-room temperature control
  • No ductwork required — minimal disruption to the house
  • Heats and cools from one system
  • High efficiency, which shows up on the utility bill

Good candidates for a mini-split

  • Additions and converted spaces with no ducts
  • Finished attics or basements that run hot or cold
  • Older homes where adding ductwork isn't practical
  • Garages, workshops, and home offices
  • One or two problem rooms in an otherwise fine house

Service 04

Repair & maintenance

The cheapest system is usually the one you already own, kept in good shape.

We keep systems running at peak performance and we're straight with you about what maintenance actually matters versus what's just an upsell. When something breaks, we find the real cause — a failed capacitor and a failing compressor look similar from the driveway and cost very different amounts to fix.

  • Diagnostic service on AC, heat pumps, and forced-air heat
  • Seasonal tune-ups before the heat and cold arrive
  • Airflow, refrigerant, electrical, and safety checks
  • Practical advice on keeping the system alive longer

We repair before we replace

If a fix gets you several more good years, that's what we'll recommend.

No invented problems

We won't report false faults on your equipment to make a sale.

Service 05

Blower door testing

For builders and homeowners working through new construction inspection.

A blower door test pressurizes the building and measures how much air leaks out of the envelope. Pennsylvania's energy code requires this test on most new residential construction before a certificate of occupancy is issued.

We perform the test and provide the documentation your building inspector needs. If the house doesn't pass, the results also tell you exactly where the leakage is so it can be sealed before you retest.

  • New construction air-leakage testing
  • Documentation for code compliance and inspection sign-off
  • Leakage findings you can actually act on
  • Scheduling that works around your build timeline
