A lot of the heating and cooling companies around here aren't family businesses any more — they've been bought up by investment groups. The most capable HV/AC contractor you can ever hire. Installed 4 mini split units in one house, and 2 chiller units in the main house. Clean, Professional, knowledgeable about very complex and new state of the art equipment. I have absolutely no complaints about any of Matt’s work and will highly recommend his company!

When making decisions on any bigger ticket items, I always complete due diligence. So, when we decided to have a ductless heat pump/AC system installed to replace the costly baseboard electric runs and window air conditioners, I researched both the brands as well as the local installers.
Matt is by far the best, most professional, and honest in the business. He worked endlessly for two days straight during some of the hottest days in the middle of summer to install a new central A/C system with a heat pump in my house. My family and I can now sleep comfortably year round.

Covers coming out to you and the first hour of work. In that hour we diagnose the system and tell you exactly what's wrong and what it takes to put it right, with a price, before anything else happens.
If the job runs longer than that hour, we stop and talk it over with you — what it needs, what it'll cost — and you decide whether to carry on. Nothing gets done that you haven't said yes to.

How much does a service call cost?
A service call is $185, and that covers coming out to you plus the first hour of work. In that hour we diagnose the system and tell you exactly what's wrong and what it takes to fix it — with a price — before anything else happens. If the job runs longer than that hour, we stop and talk it over with you and you decide whether to carry on. No surprise line items at the end.
Do you charge for quotes?
Estimates for a new system, a replacement or an installation are free — we come out, look at the house, and give you a written price at no charge. Diagnosing a system that's already broken is different: that's a service call at $185, which includes the first hour of work.
Do you service oil systems?
No. We handle air conditioning, heat pumps (central and ductless mini-split), and forced-air gas and propane systems. We don't work on oil — and we'd rather tell you that up front than waste your time.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Cold Breeze LLC is fully insured and holds Pennsylvania License #PA175599 and New Jersey HVAC Master Technician License #19HC00783700.
How fast can you get here in an emergency?
We answer the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — weekends and holidays included. Call 570-618-3776 and we'll tell you honestly how soon we can be there rather than promising something we can't hit.
Should I repair my system or replace it?
It depends on the age of the equipment, what failed, and what the repair costs relative to a new system. We'll lay out both options with real numbers and let you decide — we don't push replacements.
What is blower door testing, and do I need it?
A blower door test measures how much air leaks out of a building. Pennsylvania energy code requires it on most new construction. We run the test and provide the documentation your building inspector needs.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, on system replacements and larger installations. You can check what you prequalify for in about a minute — it's a soft check, so it won't affect your credit score. Or see financing options and ask when you call.
